Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Operation Game Thief hosted a sporting clay event in Austin with 300 shooters participating from around the state. This year’s Conservation Cup winners were Dallas Safari Club winning the morning shoot and Houston Safari Club winning the afternoon shoot. The perpetual trophy was awarded to the highest scoring team representing an organized conservation entity. Winners keep the trophy until next year's shoot.
